American Resources Corporation announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Electrified Materials, has expanded its pre-processing capabilities through the procurement of additional equipment and processing capacity at its Indiana facility. The new processing line expands EMCO's ability to aggregate, process and condition magnet materials, copper, aluminum and ferrous metals recovered from end-of-life products and manufacturing scrap. These materials include rare earth element and critical mineral feedstocks that will be conditioned into optimal forms for refining. Conditioned rare earth and critical mineral materials will be supplied to ReElement Technologies Corporation for advanced separation, purification and refining into ultra-high-purity rare earth oxides, which are then supplied to downstream manufacturing partners supporting electrification, defense and advanced manufacturing markets.

American Resources' ReElement Technologies announced the filing of a new patent application designed to complement Direct Lithium Extraction processes for the production of ultra-high-purity lithium products from lithium-bearing brines. This newly filed patent expands ReElement's intellectual property portfolio and reflects its continued leadership in advancing innovative, modular, and environmentally responsible refining technologies. The filing represents ReElement's eighth next-generation patent application, with additional filings currently in development.

American Resources' ReElement announced the expansion and commissioning of enhanced laboratory capacity and key technical hires to support scaling operations across its multi-mineral refining platform. The expanded laboratory capabilities build upon ReElement's commissioned chromatography infrastructure and recently filed next-generation patents, strengthening the Company's ability to validate, qualify, and scale commercial production of high-purity critical mineral products.

American Resources announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Electrified Materials Corporation has commenced receiving initial 2026 shipments of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries from multiple domestic and international sources at its Noblesville, Indiana disposition site. EMCO continues to work closely with its supply-chain partners, including Blackion LLC, to source, aggregate, and responsibly manage lithium-ion batteries across a broad range of chemistries. These activities support the growing volume of batteries reaching end-of-life from electric vehicles, energy storage systems, consumer electronics, and manufacturing scrap streams.
