Aemetis announced that its Universal Biofuels subsidiary in India secured allocations of approximately $24M for the supply of more than 27 million liters of biodiesel to India's three government-owned Oil Marketing Companies, OMCs, for the period ending March 2026. Additional OMC fuel supply orders are expected throughout the year to support the India government's goal of increasing from a 1% biodiesel blend to a targeted 5%, as stated in the current India National Policy on Biofuels. "Universal Biofuels and other biodiesel producers look forward to continuous support from the government of India to build and expand a healthy biodiesel industry," stated Sanjeev Duggal, CEO of Universal Biofuels.

Aemetis announced that its Aemetis Biogas subsidiary received funds from the sale of $17M of federal clean energy tax credits, including a Section 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit and a Section 48 Investment Tax Credit. The transaction included approximately $12M for a Section 48 ITC generated from the construction of a dairy manure digester that produces biogas and approximately $5M from a Section 45Z PTC generated from renewable natural gas production during 2025. Net cash proceeds from the transaction were approximately $15M after transaction costs. In addition, Aemetis expects to generate a transferable Section 45C tax credit in 2026 worth $10.5M, which has received approval from the IRS and the Department of Energy.

Aemetis announced that the Authority To Construct air permits have been issued by the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for the mechanical vapor recompression, MVR, energy efficiency project at the Aemetis 65 million gallon per year ethanol plant in Keyes, California, CA. The MVR project is expected to increase cash flow from operations at the Keyes ethanol plant by $32 million per year after the completion of construction in mid-2026 from energy cost reductions, increased income from Low Carbon Fuel Standard credits, and an increase in transferable Section 45Z tax credits.
