Cadence (CDNS) announced that Aeva (AEVA) has licensed Cadence Tensilica Vision DSP IP to accelerate signal processing in its 4D LiDAR systems-enabling flexible and scalable solutions for industrial robotics and automotive applications. "Cadence's DSP technology provides the flexibility and performance uplift we need to push the boundaries of perception and deliver scalable solutions to our industrial and automotive customers," said James Reuther, chief engineer of Aeva. "By integrating the Tensilica Vision DSP into our next-generation LiDAR systems, Aeva can leverage the powerful combination of Cadence's highly configurable hardware and comprehensive suite of optimized software libraries to accelerate innovation and bring advanced sensing capabilities to market faster."

Aeva and Nikon Metrologyy announced that Aeva's Eve high-precision sensor technology is powering Nikon Corporation's new APDIS MV5X Laser Radar system, which has begun commercial deployment as part of the companies' multi-year production agreement to use Aeva's technology in Nikon's products for high-volume automated robotic inspection and metrology applications.

Aeva announced that the Georgia Department of Transportation, GDOT, has selected the Aeva CityOS intelligent transportation systems, ITS, platform for a deployment at 30 new intersections across multiple sites in the greater Atlanta area. The expansion represents a significant step toward scaling AI-powered intelligent infrastructure using Aeva's 4D LiDAR technology in one of the largest cities in the United States.
