About APEI
American Public Education, Inc., provides online and campus-based postsecondary education and career learning. The Company provides education through its two segments, Military and Health. The Military segment provides online postsecondary education directed primarily at the needs of the military, veterans, extended military and veteran families, and other public service and service-minded communities, through APUS, which includes institutions, American Military University and American Public University. It provides online postsecondary education to approximately 89,500 adult learners. The Health segment provides nursing- and health sciences-focused and other post-secondary education, including business, technology, and education. It provides these educational services to approximately 19,400 students at 27 campuses in eight states and online through Rasmussen University and Hondros College of Nursing.
