SK Hynix has filed to offer 17.79M common shares in a U.S. initial public offering. The company estimates that the net proceeds from its issuance and sale of 17.79M common shares represented by American Depositary Shares in the offering will be approximately $28.0B. Each ADS represents one-tenth of a share of its common stock, the company noted. The company intends to use the net proceeds received from this offering for capital expenditures related to the construction of its production facilities in Korea as well as its acquisition of EUV scanners, it noted.
