Ammonia Power and Bunkering Project: Singapore's Energy Market Authority and Maritime and Port Authority have shortlisted two consortia, Keppel's Infrastructure Division and Sembcorp-SLNG, for an ammonia power and bunkering project aimed at generating low- or zero-carbon electricity on Jurong Island.
Project Details and Timeline: The initiative plans to produce 55 to 65 MW of electricity from imported ammonia and facilitate bunkering with a capacity of at least 100,000 metric tons per year, with a lead developer expected to be selected by Q1 2025.
