Nuveen Massachusetts Quality Municipal Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objectives are to provide current income exempt from regular federal income taxes and Massachusetts state income taxes and to enhance portfolio value relative to the Massachusetts municipal bond market by investing in tax-exempt Massachusetts municipal obligations. The Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in municipal securities and other related investments the income from which is exempt from regular federal and Massachusetts income taxes. It also invests up to 20% of its managed assets in municipal securities that at the time of investment are rated below investment grade or are unrated by any NRSRO but judged to be of comparable quality by its sub-adviser. It also invests up to 20% of its managed assets in alternative minimum tax (AMT) bonds. Its investment adviser is Nuveen Fund Advisors, LLC.
