Lease Negotiations: The bank is in talks with Samsung SRA Asset Management about potentially extending its lease or vacating the building when it expires in 2032.
New Office Space: Commerzbank has committed to renting over 73,000 square meters in the Central Business Tower, set to be completed in 2028, which will serve as a new anchor for its operations in Frankfurt.
Job Cuts: As part of its restructuring efforts, Commerzbank plans to reduce its workforce by approximately 3,300 jobs in Germany.
