CATL's Hong Kong Listing: Chinese battery manufacturer CATL plans to raise at least HK$31.01 billion ($3.99 billion) through its Hong Kong listing, making it the largest global IPO of 2025 so far, with shares priced at a maximum of HK$263 each.
Investment and Future Plans: Approximately 90% of the proceeds will be allocated to constructing a factory in Hungary for battery production, aimed at serving major automakers like BMW and Volkswagen, while the company is also navigating challenges related to U.S.-China trade tensions.
