The Fund's investment objective is to seek to maximize current income exempt from federal income tax to the extent consistent with the preservation of capital. The Fund ordinarily invests all of its net assets in municipal obligations that provide income exempt from federal personal income tax, and has adopted a fundamental investment policy to invest, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets in municipal obligations.
