Automatic Redemption of Notes: The redemption of Series BR Shares will trigger the automatic redemption of all outstanding NVCC Additional Tier 1 (AT1) 4.00% Limited Recourse Capital Notes, Series 2, on the same date, at 100% of principal plus accrued interest.
Outstanding Securities: There are 1.25 million Series BR Shares and $1.25 billion in principal amount of Series 2 LRCN outstanding, representing a total of $1.25 billion in capital.
Financing Source: The redemptions will be financed from Royal Bank of Canada's general corporate funds.
