Written by Ohris M. Greyoon, Blockchain & Crypto Expert
Funding and Partnerships: Plume, a modular layer-1 blockchain focused on real-world asset finance, has raised $20 million in Series A funding led by Brevan Howard Digital, Haun Ventures, and Galaxy Ventures, to enhance its ecosystem and support decentralized finance applications. The company has also partnered with Chateau Capital and DigiFT to tokenize illiquid assets and onboard institutional-grade assets.
Mission and Infrastructure: Plume aims to create a blockchain tailored for crypto-native users and institutions, facilitating the on-chain presence of traditional financial assets and alternative investment classes, addressing the historical lack of infrastructure for real-world assets (RWAs) in the crypto space.
