Vuzix "announced that its LX1 smart glasses have received FCC and CE certifications for market access in the United States, Canada, European Union, United Kingdom, and Japan and commenced commercial shipments. Vuzix up 6% in pre-market following Smart Glasses certification

Vuzix and Avegant announced at CES 2026 a jointly developed binocular smart glasses reference design that they say "sets a new benchmark for affordability, performance, and wearability in next-generation AR eyewear." The reference design integrates Avegant's AG-30L3 with Vuzix's waveguide optics.
