Mueller Industries announced that it has acquired Bison Metals Technologies. Bison is a U.S. manufacturer of copper tubes, with its sole manufacturing location in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Regarding the acquisition, Greg Christopher, Mueller's CEO said, "The addition of Bison to the Mueller group expands our domestic tube manufacturing capacity, broadens our industrial tube manufacturing capabilities and importantly, enhances our ability to produce tube that is utilized as feedstock for certain of our value-added products. This capability will help mitigate tariff costs we currently incur on feedstock that is manufactured at our foreign subsidiaries for eventual use by our U.S. production operations."

Mueller Industries announced its board of directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 35c per share, to be paid on March 27 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 13. This represents a 40% increase over the 2025 quarterly dividend.

Reports Q4 revenue $962.39M vs. $923.54M last year. Regarding the results, Greg Christopher, Mueller's CEO said, "Our fourth quarter capped a year in which every quarter marked an improvement over the prior year period. Those results culminated in the highest annual operating and net income in our Company's history, a particularly noteworthy achievement given that market conditions worsened compared to 2024, not to mention the disruption and costs that tariffs imposed on several of our businesses."

Regarding the quarter performance and outlook, Greg Christopher, Mueller's CEO said, "Softness in residential construction, combined with an influx of imported products ahead of escalating tariffs, exerted downward pressure on unit volumes in several of our businesses. Amidst these challenges, our team once again delivered an excellent quarter. Looking forward, we are highly optimistic about our business. Our plants operate most effectively when fully loaded. Given our additional capacity, we therefore expect to benefit from even greater production efficiencies when demand rebounds. As for heightened tariffs, we maintain our belief that they will ultimately benefit our business as we manufacture just a small percentage of our products overseas for importation into the U.S. market. Nonetheless, we have accelerated plans to increase our manufacturing capabilities in the U.S., onshore some of our own manufacturing and otherwise enhance our ability to respond to growing calls for domestically produced products."
