MediaCo announced that it has appointed Rene Santaella to the newly created role of chief growth and innovation officer, effective immediately. In this expanded executive role, Santaella will own MediaCo's end-to-end "Supply + Growth Engines" chain that converts content investment into scalable distribution.

MediaCo Holding announced that EstrellaTV will launch television station WDYB-CD in Orlando, Florida. The station will officially launch on March 24. For the past 17 years, Hearst Television's WKCF 18.3 has served as the affiliate partner for EstrellaTV in Orlando. WDYB-CD will further advance EstrellaTV's strategy of expanding its footprint in high-growth Hispanic markets.

MediaCo announced a partnership with Katz Television Group, a division of Katz Media Group. Katz will serve as national media sales representative for MediaCo's owned-and- operated EstrellaTV stations, exclusive for political advertising and preferred for direct response and paid advertising sales across the portfolio. Under the partnership, Katz will represent EstrellaTV stations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, Chicago, and Denver.
