Mondelez International (MDLZ) announced the appointment of Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and CFO, effective July 1. He will report directly to Dirk Van de Put, Chair and CEO, and will be a member of the Mondelez International Leadership Team. Following Banati's appointment, Luca Zaramella will continue as Executive Vice President and COO, focusing his leadership on the company's commercial operations, including its four geographical regions, corporate sales, marketing and supply chain functions. Banati most recently served as CFO of Kenvue. (KVUE).

Reports Q1 revenue $3.91B, consensus $3.85B. "Our year is off to an encouraging start, as our continued efforts to strengthen the business and sharpen execution resulted in delivering net and organic sales growth for the second consecutive quarter, along with meaningful year-over-year improvement in gross margin, operating margin, and EPS," said Kirk Perry, Chief Executive Officer.
