The U.S. Rig Count is down 30 rigs from last year's count of 578 with oil rigs down 57, gas rigs up 21 and miscellaneous rigs up 6. The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 to 18, up 7 year-over-year. The Canada Rig Count is up 1 from last week to 124 with oil rigs up 3 to 77, gas rigs down 2 to 47 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged at 0. The Canada Rig Count is up 10 from last year's count of 114 with oil rigs up 9, gas rigs up 1 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.

The Canada Rig Count is up 3 from last year's count of 120 with oil rigs unchanged, gas rigs up 3 and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.
