SurgePays (SURG) announced the launch of a 25,000 activation pilot to integrate the Alpha Cash mobile wallet across its distribution surface under a multi-year agreement with Alpha Modus Holdings (AMOD). The pilot is designed to monetize SurgePays' subprime customer base by pairing acquired consumers with additional financial products. Key terms of the pilot include a $10 per activation bounty, a $250,000 fixed bounty pool, and a 10% revenue share on net revenue from each enrolled wallet user for five years. "SurgePays reaches the subprime consumer through three distribution channels: prepaid wireless, our point-of-sale platform across approximately 9,000 convenience stores, and the ProgramBenefits.com platform," said Brian Cox, CEO of SurgePays. "The opportunity in front of this Company is to put more life-enhancing products in front of every subprime consumer who flows through those channels, including financial products, benefit programs, and savings tools, and to earn a revenue share on each one. The Alpha Cash pilot is the first deliberate step in that direction."

An estimated 5.6 million U.S. households in America remain unbanked. In Harris County, Texas, alone, that figure approaches 600,000 residents - nearly one in six adults. For many, cashing a paycheck still means standing in line at a grocery or convenience store and paying fees that can reach 10% of the check's value. Alpha Modus Financial Services, a subsidiary of Alpha Modus Holdings intends to introduce a new option through the Alpha Cash App - a platform designed to help consumers cash checks, move money, pay bills, send remittances, and access prepaid debit services without the high fees often associated with traditional check-cashing counters. To introduce the platform to consumers, Alpha Cash is offering the first 500 eligible users free check cashing services through June 30, 2026. The promotion is designed to give underbanked and cash-preferred consumers an opportunity to try the service without the typical fees that have long been associated with accessing their own money.

Alpha Modus resolved its patent infringement litigation against Brookshire Grocery Co. pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The litigation involved allegations of infringement relating to Alpha Modus's patented technologies covering real-time consumer behavior analysis, digital advertising systems, smart retail display technologies, and AI-driven in-store engagement platforms deployed within physical retail environments. All claims between the parties have been resolved and the parties have moved for dismissal of the litigation with prejudice.
