Tango Therapeutics Appoints Sung Lee to Board of Directors

Tango Therapeutics, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to discovering novel drug targets and delivering precision medicine for the treatment of cancer. The Company's novel small molecules are designed to be selectively active in cancer cells with specific genetic alterations, killing those cancer cells while sparing normal cells. It is also extending its target space beyond the classic, cell-autonomous effects of tumor suppressor gene loss. Its TNG260 is a first-in-class Co-repressor of Repressor Element-1 Silencing Transcription (CoREST) inhibitor, which in preclinical studies reversed the immune evasion effect of STK11 loss-of-function mutations.
