Record Donations from SpartanNash Foundation and Shoppers Boost Local Food Pantries
Record Donations: The SpartanNash Foundation and shoppers raised a record-breaking $780,000, equivalent to 285,000 meals, for over 100 local food pantries during the holiday season.
Community Support: The in-store fundraiser, which ran from October 24 to November 26, allowed store guests to contribute funds that help food banks purchase essential items in bulk at lower costs.
Long-term Impact: Since 2016, the SpartanNash Foundation's annual fundraisers have raised over $3.6 million, providing more than 1.3 million meals to communities in need.
Additional Contributions: Alongside the fundraiser, the SpartanNash Foundation pledged an extra $90,000 to food pantries near its distribution centers, further enhancing its commitment to fighting hunger.
