Jefferies analyst Sheila Kahyaoglu lowered the firm's price target on Parsons to $75 from $90 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The firm lowered its Q4 revenue estimate 2% to $1.67B to reflect slower contract conversion post shutdown, the analyst tells investors in a research note. While the FAA modernization contract did not go Parsons' way, the firm's -1% organic decline in 2026 is being lowered from +5% to reflect a slower contracting environment on the $58B pipeline, Jefferies says.
Citi analyst John Godyn initiated coverage of Parsons with a Buy rating and $86 price target. The firm launched coverage on 24 stocks in the aerospace and defense sector, saying the group faces a "number of megatrends" across commercial aerospace, defense, shipbuilding, and space. Citi sees these trends creating at least one trillion-dollar market cap company in the coming years. GE Aerospace could get there in as little as five years, Citi contends. The firm calls RTX "the Marquee Megatrend stock" and believes Boeing is an "unusually attractive mega-cap turnaround" story. The analyst expects improving trends in Q4 and continued momentum in Q1 for the sector.
TD Cowen upgraded Parsons to Buy from Hold with a price target of $75, down from $90. The shares are down 23% since the Federal Aviation Administration contract was awarded on December 4, which creates an attractive entry point, the analyst tells investors in a research note. TD views the selloff as "excessive" given the below10% EBITDA cut to Parsons from losing the contract. It upgrades the shares citing an attractive risk/reward.
Citi raised the firm's price target on Persimmon to 1,613 GBp from 1,541 GBp and keeps a Buy rating on the shares.
