Second-Hand Homes Price Decline: The average price of second-hand homes fell by 0.97% month-on-month and 8.36% year-on-year, settling at RMB13,016 per square meter.
Market Dynamics: High-end improvement projects in major cities like Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, and Nanjing contributed to the increase in new home prices, while the supply of second-hand homes remained high, leading to price adjustments.
Market Forecasts: JPMorgan noted that the recent tax cut on property sales in China had a limited effect and did not significantly improve market forecasts for home prices.
