China's Electric Vehicle Market Growth: In February, China led global electric vehicle purchases with a 76% year-on-year increase, despite EU tariffs affecting some brands like MG and Honda. Overall sales rose by 49% to 1.2 million vehicles, although figures were impacted by the Chinese New Year timing.
Regional Sales Trends: While Europe saw a 19% increase in EV sales, North America's growth was at 17%, but future forecasts may be reduced due to political factors. Mexico's EV market more than doubled thanks to increased imports from China.
