Bitfarms to Redomicile to U.S. as Keel Infrastructure by 2026
Bitfarms Ltd. shares surged by 8.86% as the company reached a 5-day high.
The company announced a strategic transition plan to redomicile from Canada to the U.S. by April 1, 2026, rebranding as Keel Infrastructure. This move aims to enhance long-term shareholder value and adapt to U.S. market demands. The Board has unanimously recommended shareholders vote in favor of the Arrangement Resolution, which requires at least two-thirds approval. As a U.S.-domiciled company, Bitfarms expects to gain expanded access to new capital pools and strengthen its market competitiveness.
This strategic shift positions Bitfarms to better capitalize on market opportunities and improve its operational stability, potentially leading to increased shareholder value in the long run.
