Annovis Bio, Inc. is a late-stage clinical drug platform company addressing neurodegeneration such as Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and Parkinson’s disease (PD). The Company is developing its lead product candidate, Buntanetap, which is designed to address AD, PD, and potentially other chronic neurodegenerative diseases. Buntanetap is a synthetically produced small molecule, orally administered, brain penetrant compound. Its product candidate ANVS405 is an intravenous drug being developed for acute indications and focused on protecting the brain after traumatic brain injury and/or stroke. ANVS405 is the same compound as Buntanetap, given in cases of acute head and brain trauma. ANVS301 is an orally administered drug being developed to increase cognitive capability in later stages of AD and dementia.
