zSpace files to sell 12.5M shares of common stock for holders

zSpace announced it has received a strategic investment from Planet One Education. The Planet One investment of $3M through the purchase of convertible preferred stock and warrants closed on January 27. This represents 1.5M convertible preferred shares. Planet One also receives 1M warrants with an exercise price of $3.00 per share. zSpace intends to use the proceeds to strengthen its balance sheet, support working capital needs, and accelerate its international expansion. In addition to the investment, zSpace and Planet One are exploring a strategic collaboration to expand STEM and vocational training initiatives outside the United States.

As educators nationwide gather at the Future of Education Technology Conference, zSpace is spotlighting a case study from AIM Academy, a college preparatory school dedicated to students with language-based learning differences. The case study highlights how AIM Academy is using headset-free AR/VR learning with zSpace to help neurodivergent students build confidence, deepen understanding, and transfer skills from the classroom to real-world settings. AIM Academy's innovative approach - grounded in the philosophy of assuming ability - demonstrates how immersive technology can remove traditional barriers to learning for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other language-based learning differences. "zSpace gives our students something they don't always get enough of: time to repeat, space to fail safely, and opportunities to truly understand," said Aaron Brill, Director of Technology at AIM Academy. "When students can interact with learning in AR/VR, abstract concepts become tangible - and that changes everything."

zSpace announced the launch of Heavy Vehicle Fundamentals by Labtech, a comprehensive AR-powered training solution designed to help students build foundational knowledge and hands-on skills in diesel, trucking, and heavy vehicle systems. Developed in collaboration with Labtech International, a global provider of technical and vocational education training solutions, the new program expands zSpace's rapidly growing library of CTE-aligned applications for automotive, diesel, and transportation programs. "Labtech has long been recognized for delivering high-quality training solutions for technical and vocational education," said Paul Kellenberger, CEO of zSpace. "By bringing Heavy Vehicle Fundamentals onto the zSpace platform, we're giving schools and workforce programs a scalable, cost-effective way to introduce students to diesel and heavy vehicle concepts while supporting the growing demand for technicians across the transportation industry."
