ZenaTech Begins Development of Integrated Counter-UAS System
ZenaTech has commenced development of an integrated counter-UAS, or unmanned aircraft systems, consisting of a software platform and architecture for its counter-UAS hardware and defense system. "Our Interceptor drones can be thought of as the hardware answer to the drone attack problem, while the Zena AI platform is the software intelligence intended to transform it into a defense system. Together, they are designed to give a single operator the ability to direct an AI-commanded fleet of low-cost interceptors against a swarm attack, autonomously and at machine speed, at a cost per engagement that is finally on the correct side of the cost equation," said Shaun Passley, ZenaTech CEO. "With the initiation of this integrated development program, we are building a complete and cost-effective counter-UAS architecture we believe will meet the growing needs of US defense and allied forces."

ZenaTech Plans to Launch Interceptor Drone Priced Under $5,000
ZenaTech announces that its previously disclosed Interceptor P-1 single-use, one-way autonomous drone being developed by its ZenaDrone subsidiary, is being designed to have a target selling price of under $5,000. The company previously disclosed it has initiated development of a prototype version for the small, one-way interceptor drone designed to stop hostile drones by physically intercepting them in-flight. The Interceptor P-1 is being built as an autonomous and expendable vertical takeoff and landing-design drone that can be added to the company's counter-UAS defense system offering dramatically lower costs than traditional air munitions. The company is targeting an initial prototype completion in the upcoming months and will provide further updates on product development, regulatory milestones, and defense and government agency engagement and pilots as progress continues.

ZenaTech Develops Prototype for Small Interceptor Drone
ZenaTech announces that its ZenaDrone subsidiary has initiated development of a prototype for a small, one-way interceptor drone designed to stop hostile drones by physically intercepting them in flight. The prototype, called Interceptor-P1, is an autonomous and expendable vertical takeoff and landing-design drone that can be added to the company's counter-UAS defense system offering dramatically lower costs than traditional air munitions. The drone addresses a critical asymmetry in modern warfare. Adversaries routinely deploy low-cost commercial and military drones at scale, while conventional intercept solutions, including surface-to-air missiles and laser systems, carry costs that are orders of magnitude higher than the threats they defeat. The Interceptor-P1 prototype is being purpose-built to reverse this equation. With versatile launch options planned, including ground, vehicle, and maritime deployment via the company's IQ Glider, maritime drone platform, the Interceptor P-1 is being built to respond rapidly across multiple environments. By offering scalable interception capabilities, it is designed to help defense forces protect critical infrastructure, manage enemy drone swarms, and complement existing air defense systems as a strategic addition to ZenaDrone counter-UAS platform. The company is targeting an initial prototype completion in the upcoming months and will provide further updates on product development, regulatory milestones, and defense and government agency engagement and pilots as progress continues.

ZenaTech Files Patent Application for Maritime Drone Defense System
ZenaTech announces that its ZenaDrone subsidiary has filed a provisional patent application for its maritime drone defense system combining the ZenaDrone 2000 maritime interceptor drone and the IQ Glider autonomous marine launch and refueling station. The patent application covers the company's counter-UAS system architecture, designed to enable persistent, ship-based drone interception capable of autonomously detecting, engaging, and intercepting multiple incoming unmanned aerial threats. The provisional patent was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and represents the first step in building a defensible intellectual property portfolio for the company's maritime defense system.
