Q4 Revenue Declines to $6.042M
Reports Q4 revenue $6.042M vs $6.662M last year. "Record high beef prices driven by trade restrictions and smaller herd sizes continued to impact our beef-related verification revenue as some legacy customers have cut back on verification activity. Although the US cattle supply is at its lowest level in 70 years, there are indications that this downtrend will stabilize later in 2026 and begin to rebound next year," said John Saunders, Chairman and CEO. "In the meantime, much of the decline in beef related verification activity has been offset by strong demand for our growing portfolio of non-beef certifications - particularly in non-GMO, Gluten Free, Organic and Upcycled product offerings."

Where Food Comes From Launches RaiseWell Certified Beef for Whole Foods
Where Food Comes From announced the adoption of RaiseWell Certified for Beef by Whole Foods Market to support its commitment to farm animal welfare. The adoption marks a major milestone for the recently launched RaiseWell standard, positioning it as a market-ready, retailer-backed certification designed to meet the evolving expectations of premium natural retailers, foodservice operators, and consumers seeking higher standards for animal care, sourcing integrity, and supply chain transparency.

Where Food Comes From Launches RaiseWell Certified New Standard
Where Food Comes From announces the launch of RaiseWell Certified, a comprehensive new standard that sets a new benchmark for animal care, verified natural raising practices, and transparent, fully traceable supply chains. Developed to meet growing consumer and retailer demand for responsibly raised proteins, RaiseWell Certified provides clear, third-party verified claims for brands, high-end retailers and foodservice operators who want to differentiate on integrity, quality, and certified production practices. The standard requires that animals are responsibly raised at every stage of life, with rigorous animal care requirements, with no antibiotics or added growth hormones ever, and source-verified back to the source of origin, creating traceability throughout the supply chains that retailers and consumers can trust.

WFCF Partners with Pangea and Walmart to Promote Sustainable Leather
Where Food Comes From (WFCF) announces a collaboration with Pangea, as well as Prime Pursuits and Walmart (WMT). Together, all are committed to enhancing transparency within supply chains by introducing CARE Certified sustainable leather to automotive brands across the country while providing beef producers with an additional way to add value. "Beef producers are at the heart of this initiative," said John Saunders, CEO of WFCF. "By supporting the CARE Certified program, ranchers can communicate to consumers that they are investing in leather produced from sustainably raised cattle on American ranches. This collaboration with Pangea, Prime Pursuits and Walmart allows us to transform what was once a lost opportunity into something meaningful. This will impact the entire supply chain, not just one piece of it."
