SUNation Energy has entered into a strategic financing agreement with Palmetto to leverage Palmetto's LightReach plan to support the deployment of residential solar projects in 2026. Under the agreement, Palmetto LightReach will provide lease and PPA options designed to expand customer access to residential solar installations while improving project economics and cash flow efficiency for SUNation. The partnership is expected to support a broad range of residential solar installations, enabling homeowners to adopt clean energy solutions through predictable monthly payments.

SUNation Energy announced it will make a final cash distribution to holders of non-transferable contingent value rights, or CVR, of 12c per CVR. The result of this final payment is that there will remain no future payments due. The CVRs were issued in connection with the 2022 merger of Communications Systems and Pineapple Energy. The total final payment is expected to be approximately $276K and is expected to commence on or about December 5. CEO Scott Maskin stated the payment "further simplifies our capital structure."

Total sales are expected to rise to $65 million to $70 million, a projected increase of between 14% and 23% from total sales of $56.9 million in 2024.

Reports Q3 revenue $18.99M vs $14.72M last year. "Our third quarter results reflected increased residential demand for solar and battery storage due to sweeping changes in tax credits associated with the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) earlier this year," said Scott Maskin, Chief Executive Officer. "This new legislation has accelerated near-term solar adoption in our markets, while dramatically changing and likely adding additional challenges to the long-term industry landscape. We are focused on the opportunities and continue to prepare for what lies ahead."
