Germany's Social Democrats Support Limiting Social Media for Under 16s
In Germany, the co-governing Social Democrats backed a proposal from Chancellor Friedrich Merz's conservatives to limit social media for those under the age of 16, Michael Nienaber of Bloomberg reports. Publicly traded companies in the social media space include Meta Platforms (META), Pinterest (PINS), Reddit (RDDT) and Snap (SNAP).
