Nuvve Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of Nuvve Holding, announced that it has entered into a definitive sales agreement for its front-of-the-meter battery energy storage system for a project located in Mino City, Gifu Prefecture. The project features a power output of 2MW and a storage capacity of 8MWh with a contracted sale price of $3.35M. The project is anticipated to be operational during the fourth quarter of 2026.

This positions the company to capitalize on fast-growing, more mature energy markets while continuing to support vehicle-to-grid innovation. The company's technology platform was originally developed to deliver advanced grid services through the aggregation of electric vehicle batteries.
