Ingersoll Rand (IR) and Garrett Motion (GTX) announced a multiyear strategic partnership to develop next generation oil-free air technologies designed to deliver greater energy efficiency, performance, and reliability for customers across key end markets, including food and beverage and life sciences. The partnership builds on Ingersoll Rand's in compression technology combined with Garrett's oil-free centrifugal compressor modules. Together, the global organizations will focus on oil-free innovation. Initial products are expected to be introduced to select Ingersoll Rand customers in 2026, with a broader commercial rollout beginning in 2027 across Ingersoll Rand's global sales regions.

Ingersoll Rand has acquired Fox s.r.l. and XF s.r.l., expanding the company's metering and dosing technologies portfolio. "The addition of Fox strengthens our metering and dosing portfolio and enhances our ability to deliver more complete, competitive solutions for customers," said Vicente Reynal, chairman and chief executive officer of Ingersoll Rand. "Fox brings more than 40 years of expertise and highly complementary dampener and accumulator technologies that expand our capabilities to provide packaged dosing systems and create additional value for our customers and shareholders."
