Star Equity (STRR) formerly, Hudson Global (HSON), announced that it has completed its $5 million share repurchase program authorized in August 2023. In addition, the Company's Board of Directors has authorized a new share repurchase program under which the Company may repurchase up to $3 million of its outstanding common stock. Jeff Eberwein, Star's CEO, noted, "Today's announcement reflects our continued commitment to enhancing shareholder value and our Board's confidence in the strength of Star's business and long-term growth prospects. Our enhanced scale and improved financial position following the recently completed merger enable us to both invest in our operations and repurchase shares, and we continue to view share repurchases as an attractive use of capital."

Hudson Global will change its corporate name to Star Equity Holdings, effective as of 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on September 5, 2025. At the same time, the ticker symbols for its Common Stock and 10% Series A Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock will change to STRR and STRRP, respectively, on NASDAQ.This name change follows the previously announced August 22, 2025 merger of the Company with Star Operating Companies, now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. It reflects the Company's strategic direction and commitment to building a diversified portfolio of businesses aimed at generating long-term shareholder value. Shareholders are not required to take any action in connection with the name and ticker symbol changes. As of the open of trading on September 5, 2025, the Company's Common and Preferred Stocks, currently trading under the symbols HSON and HSONP, respectively, will instead trade under the symbols STRR and STRRP, respectively, on NASDAQ. The Company will be led by Jeff Eberwein as Chief Executive Officer and Rick Coleman as Chief Operating Officer. Management will also include Matt Diamond as Chief Accounting Officer, Hannah Bible as Chief Legal Officer, and Shawn Miles as Executive Vice President - Finance.

Hudson Global (HSON) and Star Equity (STRR) announced the completion of their previously announced merger, forming a larger, diversified holding company. Both companies received stockholder approval to complete the Merger at their respective stockholders' meetings held on August 21, 2025. The common stock of Hudson Global will continue to trade under the symbol "HSON." The Hudson Global 10% Series A Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock will begin trading on the Nasdaq on August 22, 2025 under ticker symbol "HSONP." Star's common and preferred stock has been suspended from trading on the Nasdaq effective as of the opening of trading on August 22, 2025.

Reports Q2 revenue $35.5M vs. $35.7M last year.
