Genasys Q1 Revenue $17.1M, Exceeds Estimates
Reports Q1 revenue $17.1M, two estimates $16.5M. "We started fiscal 2026 on a strong note, delivering first quarter revenue of $17.1 million driven by robust execution on the Puerto Rico project and increased sales across our hardware products," said Richard Danforth, Genasys' Chief Executive Officer. "Additionally, during the fiscal first quarter of 2026, we fully repaid the incremental $4.0 million term loan from May 2025 and appointed Cassandra Hernandez-Monteon as Chief Financial Officer. These milestones strengthened the Company's balance sheet and leadership team, reinforcing our financial discipline and positioning us to execute against our strategic priorities with greater flexibility and confidence. Looking ahead, Genasys remains well positioned to drive sustained growth and long-term value creation for our shareholders. Large-scale contracts, including the Puerto Rico Dams Early Warning System (EWS) project and the Common Remotely Operated Weapons Station (CROWS) II Technical Refresh program, provide a solid foundation for our backlog as we continue to expand our presence across multiple-end markets."

Genasys Updates Progress on $75M Contract
Genasys provided updated information regarding the previously announced $75M contract to provide the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority with an emergency warning system to protect residents and visitors downstream of the island's 37 dams. Progress has been made on this project that consists of seven groups of dams since the August 2025 update. The first two groups have been completed in line with the EWS project plan and scheduled milestones. PREPA has requested further capabilities for these groups for which Genasys will receive additional compensation. The third group is the largest and most complex of the project with ten dams and the installation of 50 outdoor speaker arrays and over 100 sensors and cameras. This group is being executed with field activities currently underway. All the hardware and equipment necessary to complete the third group is on the island.

Genasys Reports Q4 Revenue of $17.0M, Below Estimates
Reports Q4 revenue $17.0M, two estimates $19.9M. "The fourth quarter marked an inflection point for Genasys," said Richard Danforth, Genasys' Chief Executive Officer. "With the benefits of our strategic efforts starting to materialize, we delivered a significant increase in revenue and returned to positive operating income and adjusted EBITDA*. Our gross margin returned to 50%, which we expect to be a more normalized level going forward. Furthermore, we expanded our backlog, as we continued to win new deals in both our hardware and software businesses. This is an exciting phase for Genasys. We are executing on the large opportunities in our backlog and are beginning to build momentum in our pipeline across all business verticals. Demand for our technology continues to build globally across defense, public safety, emergency warning, and other critical markets. Success in Puerto Rico has accelerated interest from international governments seeking similar solutions, and we believe these Early Warning System projects will become an important growth driver as we move through 2026 and 2027. Additionally, our LRAD business continues to be validated with a consistent flow of new and follow-on orders across various end markets. On the software side, governments and law enforcement agencies are increasingly turning to Genasys to strengthen their crisis communication processes, and we expect ongoing growth in our software offerings. Entering fiscal 2026 with a strong backlog, we expect sustained year-over-year revenue growth with gross margins near 50%. Overall, it was a successful quarter for Genasys, and we are confident we can build on this positive performance and drive meaningful value creation for our shareholders."
