Genasys announced new Genasys Protect orders in California from the cities of San Jose, Palo Alto, Milpitas, and Burbank, and the Santa Clara Fire District. More than 25.5 million residents and millions of visitors are now covered by Genasys Protect in California. In Idaho, Latah County selected Genasys Protect to replace its previous emergency management provider.

Genasys announced that Bill Dodd has been appointed chairman of the company's board of directors following the retirement of Richard Osgood III. Dodd has been a member of the board since May 2024.

Genasys announced orders for Acoustics voice outdoor warning systems for the City of Sedona, Arizona. The competitively bid orders were funded by Coconino County through a Federal Emergency Management Agency grant and additional funds approved by the Sedona City Council. The Acoustics installation sites are located in Uptown Sedona, the heart of the city's entertainment and tourist district. The city will have primary control over the systems, which can be operated individually or as a group, and Coconino County Emergency Management will maintain backup access through its countywide notification network.
