Shares of goldmining companies are rising in pre-market trading as December Gold futures contract is extending its advance, rising to record highs above $3,850 per ounce. Newmont (NEM) is up 2.8%, Agnico Eagle (AEM) is up 2.7%, Franco-Nevada (FNV) is up 1.3%, and Kinross Gold (KGC) is up 2.7%, and AngloGold Ashanti (AU) is up 2.7%.
