The White House Office of Management and Budget is setting up protections to allow agencies to use Mythos, with more information to be provided "in the coming weeks," according to the report. Anthropic has limited the release of Mythos due to concerns that hackers could weaponize its capabilities to steal data or sabotage victim networks, and has briefed senior U.S. government officials on the model's capabilities.
