Flowserve (FLS) announced that its board of directors has elected Brian Savoy as a member of the board of directors, and appointed him to the audit committee and technology, innovation and risk committee, effective March 16. Savoy currently serves as the CFO and executive VP at Duke Energy (DUK), an electric power and natural gas holding company.

Flowserve announced that its board of directors has authorized a quarterly cash dividend of 22c per share on the company's outstanding shares of common stock. This represents a 5% increase to the company's most recent per share quarterly dividend. The dividend is payable on April 10 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 27.
