3. list_exchange: ['XNYS', 'XNAS', 'XASE']

   • Purpose: Limit the universe to major U.S. exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ, and NYSE American.
   • Rationale:
     • These are the primary venues for most widely‑followed technology stocks.
     • This filter avoids illiquid OTC or foreign markets, focusing on more transparent, regulated listings where price data and liquidity are generally better.

Why Results Match

• The “new highs” requirement is implemented via the 52‑week high filter, which is the standard way professionals screen for stocks currently making fresh highs.
• The sector filters ensure only technology names are included, as requested.
