Screening Filters

1. rsi_category: ['moderate', 'overbought']
   • Purpose: Select stocks whose Relative Strength Index (RSI) is above the typical “oversold” zone (RSI > 30), by including only:
     • Moderate RSI (usually ~30–70)
     • Overbought RSI (usually >70)
   • Rationale:
     • The standard RSI scale uses three broad ranges:
       • Oversold: RSI < 30
       • Moderate/Neutral: 30 ≤ RSI ≤ 70
       • Overbought: RSI > 70
     • Your request is to find stocks with RSI > 30. The most direct way to approximate that with our system is to exclude the “oversold” category and include the other two:
       • Moderate → captures stocks with RSI between 30 and 70
       • Overbought → captures stocks with RSI above 70
     • Together, these categories cover all stocks with RSI above 30, which matches your threshold.

Why Results Match:

• We do support RSI-based screening, but only through predefined RSI categories, not arbitrary numeric cutoffs like “> 30.”
• Your condition RSI > 30 is effectively equivalent to “not oversold”, which in our system is achieved by selecting rsi_category = ['moderate', 'overbought'].
• By excluding the oversold category (RSI < 30) and including moderate and overbought, the filter set aligns with your request as closely as our tools allow.
