Screening Filters

1. pe_ttm (Price-to-Earnings, Trailing Twelve Months) with max = 10
   • Purpose:
     To include only stocks whose current P/E ratio, calculated using earnings from the last 12 months, is 10 or below.
   • Rationale:
     • The user explicitly asked for stocks with a P/E ratio less than 10.
     • pe_ttm (trailing twelve months P/E) is the standard, widely used version of the P/E ratio in stock screening.
     • Setting max: 10 directly enforces the condition “P/E < 10,” ensuring that no stock with a P/E above 10 appears in the results.

Why Results Match:

• The user’s condition is purely: “P/E ratio less than 10.”
• The filter pe_ttm: { max: '10' } is a direct implementation of that condition using the most common P/E measure (trailing 12-month earnings).
• There are no extra or missing filters, so the screener is tightly aligned with the user’s request.
