Important Context First

No screen or analysis can reliably find investments that will “double by tomorrow.” Price moves of that magnitude are effectively unpredictable and usually driven by luck, manipulation, or inside information.

What we can do is focus on assets that are historically more volatile and speculative—where big moves (up or down) are more likely—while still keeping some basic risk controls like minimum liquidity. The filters below are aimed at that.

Screening Filters

1. Market Capitalization: 5,000,000 – 1,000,000,000

• Purpose:
  To focus on micro-cap and small-cap assets, which tend to be higher risk and more volatile than large, established companies.

• Rationale:

  • Smaller companies/coins (roughly $5M–$1B market cap) are more likely to experience large percentage swings because:
    • A given dollar amount of buying/selling pressure moves the price more.
    • Their business/technology/traction is often unproven.
    • They’re more sensitive to news, sentiment, and speculation.
  • Very tiny market caps (below ~$5M) can be extremely illiquid and prone to outright scams or trading halts, making them difficult to enter/exit at all. The minimum of $5M avoids the most extreme “ghost” assets while still targeting the high-risk zone.
  • By capping at $1B, we exclude big, established blue chips that tend to move more slowly and are less likely to have huge short‑term percentage returns.

2. 24-Hour Turnover (Liquidity): Minimum 100,000

• Purpose:
  To ensure the screened assets are actually tradable—i.e., you can realistically buy and sell them without getting completely stuck in an illiquid position.

• Rationale:

  • A minimum 24h turnover of $100,000 means:
    • There’s at least some consistent trading volume.
    • Bid–ask spreads are likely narrower than in nearly-dead tickers.
    • You’re less likely to move the price dramatically with a modest order, reducing execution risk.
  • High‑risk small caps or speculative cryptos with no volume are often:
    • Untradeable at a fair price.
    • Vulnerable to sharp, one-sided moves where you can’t get out.
  • This filter tries to balance speculation with basic liquidity, so you’re not just gambling on something you can’t exit.

Why Results Match the Request

• The market cap filter intentionally targets smaller, more speculative assets that historically have higher volatility and therefore a higher chance (not guarantee) of large upside moves, aligning with your interest in high‑risk opportunities.
• The turnover filter ensures these high‑risk names still have enough trading activity to be usable in practice, rather than purely theoretical bets you can’t enter or exit.

Overall, these filters focus the search on speculative, higher‑risk assets with real but limited liquidity, which is the realistic way to approach “high‑risk” or “moonshot” style investments—without promising impossible short‑term doubles.
