Board Changes at UBS: UBS has announced changes to its board and executive team, appointing Beatriz Martin as Chief Operating Officer and nominating Markus Ronner as the new compliance chief.
Departure of Lukas Gaehwiler: Vice Chairman Lukas Gaehwiler will step down next year and will not seek re-election at the annual general meeting in April 2026.
New Roles for Existing Executives: Michelle Bereaux will take over as head of compliance and operational risk control, while governmental and regulatory affairs will be reassigned to CFO Todd Tuckner and HR chief Stefan Seiler.
Martin's Continued Leadership: Beatriz Martin, who currently leads non-core and legacy operations, will maintain her role as president of EMEA and UK chief executive.
