NovoCure Limited is a global oncology company with a proprietary platform technology called Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields), which are electric fields that exert physical forces to kill cancer cells via a variety of mechanisms. The Company's commercialized products are approved in certain countries for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma, non-small cell lung cancer, malignant pleural mesothelioma and pleural mesothelioma. Its Optune Gio is approved by the FDA under the Premarket Approval pathway for the treatment of adult patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma together with temozolomide, a chemotherapy drug, and for adult patients with GBM following confirmed recurrence after chemotherapy as monotherapy treatment.
