KKR's Tender Offer: KKR is set to launch a tender offer for Topcon's common shares and share acquisition rights, starting on July 29 and ending on September 9, with a proposed price of JPY 3,300 per common share.
Topcon's Leadership Support: Topcon's President and CEO, Takashi Eto, has agreed to participate in the tender offer, and after its completion, he along with JIC Capital will invest in KKR-managed vehicles that will own Topcon.
