ASML's Investment in Mistral AI: ASML is set to invest €1.3 billion in French AI startup Mistral AI as part of a €1.7 billion Series C fundraising, aiming to strengthen Europe's technological independence and secure a significant equity position and board seat.
Mistral AI's Rapid Growth: Founded in 2023, Mistral AI has quickly become Europe's leading AI company, competing with major U.S. firms, and is expected to see its valuation rise to as high as $14 billion following the new funding round.
