Aclara Resources Welcomes VAC Representatives to Carina Project Site
Collaboration Strengthening: Aclara Resources hosted representatives from eVAC Magnetics and Vacuumschmelze at its Carina Project pilot plant, enhancing their partnership to create an ESG-focused rare earths supply chain for permanent magnets.
Production Achievements: The Carina Project in Goias, Brazil, successfully produced approximately 150kg of high purity mixed rare earth carbonates using Aclara's Circular Mineral Harvesting process, with plans for further refinement in Louisiana.
Future Developments: Aclara aims to develop processing capabilities for metals and alloys at its Louisiana facility, which will convert rare earth oxides into specialized alloys for magnet production.
Strategic Alignment: The visit facilitated discussions on product specifications and scalability, aligning eVAC's upcoming metallization process in South Carolina with Aclara's expansion efforts, emphasizing their shared goal of a sustainable supply chain in the Western Hemisphere.
