S&P Index Changes: Effective September 23, 2024, S&P Dow Jones Indices will implement changes to the S&P 500, S&P MidCap 400, and S&P SmallCap 600 indices to better reflect market capitalization, including additions and deletions of various companies across these indices.
Company Replacements: Notable additions include Palantir Technologies and Dell Technologies to the S&P 500, while American Airlines Group and Etsy will be removed. The S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600 will also see multiple company replacements as part of the quarterly rebalance.
