U.S. GoldMining Inc. is an exploration-stage company. The Company is focused on its Whistler Project. The Whistler Project is a gold-copper exploration project located in the Yentna Mining District, approximately 150 km northwest of Anchorage, Alaska. The Whistler Project comprises 377 State of Alaska mining claims covering an aggregate area of approximately 217.5 square kilometers (km2) (approximately 53,700 acres). The Whistler Project is located in the Alaska Range. The Whistler Project has indicated resources of approximately 3.0 million gold equivalent ounces and inferred resources of over 6.5 million gold equivalent ounces. Its mineral resources have been estimated at three gold-copper porphyry deposits (Whistler, Raintree West, and Island Mountain), and several additional geophysical and geochemical target anomalies contain mineralized drill intersections that require follow-up drilling.
