Investment Announcement: Volvo AB plans to invest 700 million SEK in a new crawler excavator assembly factory in Eskilstuna, Sweden, aiming for an annual production of 3,500 machines.
Part of Larger Investment: This initiative is part of a broader 2.5 billion SEK investment by Volvo Construction Equipment announced in June 2025.
Facility Details: The 30,000 square meter facility will produce both electric and internal combustion engine models, focusing on medium and large machines weighing between 14 to 50 tonnes.
