US Launches Investigation into Over 232,000 Chrysler Vehicles Due to Instrument Panel Problem
NHTSA Probe into Jeep Vehicles: The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened an investigation into approximately 232,209 Chrysler 2020 Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler vehicles due to complaints of instrument panel cluster malfunctions that could lead to loss of critical vehicle information while driving.
Safety Concerns: The malfunction may result in a loss of the fuel gauge display, potentially causing drivers to be unaware of their fuel levels and risking a loss of power while on the road.
Chrysler Recall Announcement: In a separate action, the NHTSA reported that Chrysler is recalling 291,664 Ram ProMaster vehicles due to an overheating issue with the electrical circuit for the radiator fan.
Remedy in Progress: Chrysler is currently working on a solution to address the overheating issue in the recalled Ram ProMaster vehicles.
